Dr. Harris received his undergraduate degree from Oberlin College in Ohio. After earning his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the training center for the Washington University School of Medicine. He then earned his Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and became a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Harris has been in private practice in South Florida since 2002, first in Coral Springs, now in Boca Raton. His practice interests include minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery, including hysterectomy, hysteroscopic surgery, including treatments for abnormal bleeding and permanent forms of birth control that do not involve incisions. For his pregnant patients, Dr. Harris prides himself on being available for their deliveries, providing the personal, individualized pregnancy care often lacking in modern medical practice.
