He is a board prepared diplomat in Surgical Critical Care and was a practicing trauma/critical care and emergency physician before changing his focus to Metabolic and Integrative Medicine in 2005. Since that time, he has found greater satisfaction in using the latest anti-aging medicine to specialize in treating fatigue syndromes, fibromyalgia, sleep disorders, hormone imbalance, immune dysfunction, and infectious diseases.
His practice involves all aspects of primary care:
Bio-Identical Hormone Balancing
Uncovering and Treating Immune Dysfunction and Hidden Infectious Diseases
Extensive Laboratory and Functional Testing
Overall Wellness and Preventative Medicine
Dr. Pierotti’s treatment goals are proactive and patient-centered. He addresses the underlying etiologies of one’s health problems rather than just treating their symptoms, thus allowing the body to heal and optimize itself. Using a metabolic, integrative, comprehensive approach, he focuses on fixing/optimizing all physiologic imbalances.
Dr. Pierotti is a Board prepared Diplomat in Critical Care Medicine, board eligible in Anti-Aging Medicine, and a member of The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). He is a passionate, personable and caring physician who always tries to find the root cause of the problem – not just the symptom. His mission is to empower and partner with you to make you your “own best physician”.
He has a beautiful wife and two lovely daughters and a handsome young son, who are his pride and joy; and keep him very active and busy.
