Common: 80% of women have fibroids. They are benign muscle growths in your uterus. Pregnancy estrogen makes them double in size during the first trimester. Not much growth after that. After birth they shrink back in size. Rarely affects baby's growth. Main prob. Is that they often die off during preg. This is painful and can cause severe cramps and early labor. Do call your md if you have fibroid pain!

Early & slow dinner!: Heartburn is common in pregnancy. It is due to the increase in progesterone from the placenta which will make your lower esophagus loosen up and allow more stomach acidity to rise. Eating slowly will decrease your acidity. Allowing more time between dinner and bedtime will give your body more time to neutralize the acidity after the meal. TUMS (calcium carbonate) and OTC antacids such as Ranitidine are safe to take.

Yes: Nosebleeds are very common in pregnancy. Many women will experience them for the first time while pregnant. They are due to an increase in blood vessels in your nasal lining caused by the increase in estrogen coming from your placenta. If you have a nose bleed, pinch the fleshy part of your nose for 5-15 minutes and tilt your head forward a little to minimize swallowing too much blood.
