Dr. Gladd graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and trained in family medicine in Indiana. After 2 years of conventional primary care, both as a solo and then an employed physician, he discovered whole foods nutrition, lost 50 pounds, transforming both his personal and professional life. He completed the University of Arizona Fellowship in Integrative Medicine under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil, MD in 2009. He started a hospital-based integrative medicine practice with Parkview Hospital and 2 years later started GladdMD Integrative Medicine, a consultative, direct-pay practice to bring a high-tech, high-touch model of care to patients.
Jeff also has a passion and interest in physician brand creation, social media and technology. He founded and ran PureHealthMD.com in 2008, an online home of professionally authored health content. This was sold to the Discovery Channel in 2010. He currently serves as an advisor for Hello Health, an innovative practice platform, playing a role in product development as well as being a physician spokesman. Jeff recently created and launched Mytavin.com, the web's only evidence-based nutrient depletion calculator.
