What are good ways my veins less noticeable?

What are good ways my veins less noticeable?

Unsightly leg veins: Seeing visible veins on the skin is normal, but when they become diseased (varicose or spider veins) or when they become enlarged (such as following weight-lifting or in the elderly when the skin thins) there is often a desire to hide them or rid your body of them. Vein treatments such as sclerotherapy, phlebectomy, or laser treatments can help. Cosmetic concealer can help when not so bad. ...Read more

Is there such a thing as partial vein stripping?

Is there such a thing as partial vein stripping?

Others refer to surface varicose branch phlebectomy as "stripping". I had the VNUS closure procedure done 1 wk ago. My vein still looks vericosed. Does this mean it didn't work? When can I expect to see results?

Depends: The vnus closure uses rf energy to seal varicose veins where the catheter was placed. During the seal process, the vein is thrombosed. The sealed vein will, over time be absorbed by the body..Until that time, the vein maybe visible or palpable. Absorption should be completed by the body over 4-8 months. Often times patients require added sclerotherapy for associated varicose veins post vnus. ...Read more
