I am currently on nexplanon and am very worried about gaining weight . I am wondering if Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) that I have just been prescribed will counteract it.

Yes , but...: Adderal will decrease your appetite but rather than letting it do so, it is important right now that you make it a point to be well nourished. Try to limit yourself to nutrient dense foods so you do not lose weight. Make sure you eat breakfast before taking your Adderal and try to get at least five servings of fruits and vegs a day.
