Chances lymphoma with no noticeable enlarged lymph nodes? CBC, CMP normal. CT normal- mildly enlarged spleen 13cm

Chances lymphoma with no noticeable enlarged lymph nodes? CBC, CMP normal. CT normal- mildly enlarged spleen 13cm

Very Low chance: It is reassuring that there aren't any enlarged lymph nodes, and you have a normalCBC. If there is a lymphoma, it is a very hard to detect one. And it is not causing any problems to the body. I would leave it alone. Get a check up maybe in 6 months- just labs, ldh and a physical exam or ultrasound for the spleen. Spleen sizes also vary quite a lot, but good to keep an eye on it. ...Read more

My husband has elevated liver enzymes and an enlarged spleen. He was bitten by a tick about 4 yrs ago and was treated for Lyme disease with a zpack.?

Needs evaluation: Not all tick bites cause lyme, but if he got lyme a z-pak is not adequate treatment so he likely has chronic lyme. Ticks can also transmit babesia, bartonella, rickettsia & other serious infections. These might be causing his problems & his problems might be unrelated to the bite. He needs a thorough medical evaluation including a doc knowledgeable about lyme & co-infections. See www.Ilads.Org. ...Read more

I was wondering what are some natural treatments for an enlarged spleen?

Cause of LG spleen?: It would be helpful to know what is causing the splenic enlargement - if it's an infection, a cancer, liver diseases or something else. Most treatments revolve around protecting the spleen when enlarged- so it doesn't burst like a balloon. So no contact sports. Wear a seat belt. See doc for preventative vaccines in case it has to come out. Natural treatments would be adjunctive. ...Read more
