Wrist pain : X-ray and an MRI / mr arthrogram of the wrist should have been performed for wrist pain lasting 5-10 months. Musculoskeletal ultrasound can also provide valuable information. An underlying cartilaginous tear or tendon disruption may be present. Arthroscopic surgery may help determine and treat the cause at the same time.
