Possibly: After one month in a cast, most of the pain should have subsided. Make sure that your are not walking on the foot and using crutches, as your body weight on your foot, even in a cast, will delay the healing of the bone. ...Read more

Mgt: You may have strained a tendon, but if you had an injury this raises the risk of a fracture. Is there a rash on your hand? Do you have any health problems? I would suggest Motrin and resting the hand as much as possible. If the pain persists or worsens, please see your PCP. ...Read more
