Cervical nerve : this would suggest irritation of a cervical nerve perhaps C6 or C7. Your neurologic evaluation should help clarify that. Since you're still having pain I would agree you need to have this reevaluated. These kind of symptoms could be for other reasons. Location of the shoulder blade to suggest some other issues as well. Get examined!: At age 55 your most common cause for this pain would still be 'impingement' ( or bursitis). Labral tears causing this pain are less likely unless associated with the biceps 'anchor'( SLAP) lesions -- but less likely in isolation in your age group.Osteoarthritis can cause pain in this distribution . Not related unless..: ..There was an embolism, more associated with a fracture of the hip, not the radial head. If radial head was fractured also, ulnar entrapment can happen from a stretch injury on the inner side of the elbow @ the time of injury. ...Read more
