Workup and PT: There is no good evidence that JHS in and of itself will cause such significant pain. With that said, many people with JHS do present with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, fatigue and even autonomic symptoms such as you're describing. I think you're ...: ... on the right track! I'm not certain the pain under your right rib is related, but your other symptoms all point to a possible kidney infection. Infection in the kidney is much more serious than if it is just in the bladder so you need to go in RIGHT AWAY to have this evaluated. Rheumatologic : Depending on how much work up they did and then called it idiopathic pericarditis( which is by definition a diagnosis of exclusion) . You should ask if they ran all the rheumatologic work up including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, sjogrens etc. You should consider seeing a rheumatologist if you have not seen one yet. ...Read more
