When I wake up, my hands are swollen, in extreme pain, and I can't bend my fingers. I shuffle my legs. Pain, stiffness and hard to bend knees.

Hand pain: I do not know how old you are. However pain in hands would make me consider Carpal tunnel. Thyroid problem another thought or some type of problem causing increased fluid retention. See your provider. ...Read more

I have stiff joints in my fingers but they don't appear swollen, just stiff and its the same joints on both hands. I do experience stiffness throughout the rest of my body, my hips especially. If i keep moving it goes away somewhat but once i stop movin

A couple of thought : Your symptoms suggest a couple things. Inflammatory . Our thoughts include such diagnoses as arthritis, myositis are a couple thoughts. When you see a rheumatologist we will look for a variety of inflammatory causes. You do not describe swelling so i think we also have to look at noninflammatory musculoskeletal problems. ?infection: Is there accompanying redness which would suggest an infection? If so, consult your physician for diagnosis and treatment. Acute arthritis of one of the finger joints is another possibility. It's best to have the finger examined in either case. ...Read more
