Charlie horse!: theoretically you are at a 'slightly' increased risk for DVT from the trauma but as long as you keep moving, you should be good. YOu probably have a pretty good bruise in that muscle. I'm a very fast runner (placed at state). I fell from a high roof and one foot took the impact. My arch dropped. How much will this affect my speed :(?

Arch pain: Jake the fall from the roof most likely caused damage to the calcaneus which is the heel bone. The fall may have damaged your plantar fascia, the tendon on the arch of the foot. Ligaments and nerves may have been damaged as well. The best thing to do is to go visit a podiatrist in your area to get x-rays. You may need to placed in a cast if there's a fracture or a walking boot. Orthotics can help. ...Read more
