After my brain injury 3yr ago I can't exercise. It causes my symptoms to get worse. Neurologist said to do it only if I can. How can I loose weight then?

You may need to: Put much of your focus on healthy food choices & addressing caloric intake. I would ask your neurologist if there is any form of exercise which you might be able to tolerate. To lose weight insure that calories burned > calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day. Try for 8 hours of sleep/night. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 servings of fruit per day. > ...Read more

Unfortunately, in some cases (pituitary apoplexy, hypothlamic infarct) these parts can be irreparably damaged. Talk to a good neurologist, & get hormone levels tested, maybe prescribed, to restore it. Good luck! ...Read more
